What We Do

The Board of Directors led by President Rich Schimel and Tanhya Vancho Schimel, Vice President, are all highly regarded individuals in their respective fields of Accounting, Advertising, Finance, Hedge Fund Management, Hospitality, Information Technology, Insurance, Investment Banking, Law, Marketing, Public Relations and Publishing.           Amy Liebman Rapp, M.S.Ed,CT, a nationally recognized specialist in childhood bereavement and a strategic planning, development and management professional, became a consultant to the organization in March 2002.

Prior to the existence of A Little Hope, Inc. in 2002, there was not a single national organization dedicated to raising money to advance the growth of children's grief support and the expansion of bereavement centers, school outreach programs and camps for grieving children and teens in the United States.

With other corporate foundations and not for profit organizations stepping forward to support and advance the growth of services, we are now focused on creating innovative initiatives in the childhood bereavement field.
